I’m Erin, the creative force behind Neilson Letters. As a full-time calligrapher my passion revolves around authenticity and excellence in my craft. You might recognize me as “the calligrapher with the fun short hair”! I take pride in my fun yet professional personality, always going the extra mile to ensure my clients are delighted with my work.
Over the past 7+ years, I’ve continuously honed my calligraphy, personalization, and artistic skills through 25 different classes/workshops and multiple calligraphy conferences. This commitment to learning allows me to provide high-quality work, using premium materials and techniques to meet the highest standards of excellence. Additionally, with 10+ years of experience in the high-touch service industry in Montreal, I understand how to create an extraordinary brand experience that leaves a lasting impression on clients. I’m also fluent in both English and French.

Since my business started in 2019, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with incredible brands like Chanel, Guerlain, and Louis Vuitton, along with other clients who value the power of creating connections with the world. My work has been published in Handstyle Lettering: 20th Anniversary Edition, and I just completed my 3-year mandate as president of the internationally recognized Montreal calligraphy guild, La Société des calligraphes de Montréal!
In 2019, I also earned a Personal and Professional Coaching Certificate (PPCC) from Concordia University, making me the perfect accountabili-buddy for creative entrepreneurs seeking clarity and confidence to achieve their next big goals. Nothing brings me more joy than supporting others in their creative endeavours!
