Case Study: A Mother’s Day Collaboration with COTY Inc. & SEPHORA
Live Engraving for Burberry, Gucci, Hugo Boss & Marc Jacobs Fragrances
For Mother’s Day 2025, I was thrilled to partner with HFC Prestige International/COTY Inc. for a series of live engraving activations across SEPHORA locations in the Greater Montreal and Ottawa area.
This multi-day collaboration featured iconic fragrance brands — Burberry Beauty, Gucci Beauty, Hugo Boss, and Marc Jacobs Fragrances — and offered clients an exclusive opportunity to personalize their gifts through on-site calligraphy engraving.
The Experience
Over the course of eleven events, I engraved fragrance bottles in-store for customers looking to add a meaningful, elegant touch to their purchases. From sweet “Happy Mother’s Day” notes to custom names and dedications, each bottle became a unique keepsake — transforming a beautiful product into something truly one-of-a-kind.

Each event was scheduled for 4–5 hours, allowing for personalization without compromising on quality or detail. I was able to accommodate 12-20 items per hour, depending on the complexity of the requests.
The Impact
Fragrance is already one of the most intimate and emotionally charged gifts you can give — and when you engrave a custom message on the bottle? It becomes unforgettable.
Shoppers were consistently moved by the experience, taking photos, sharing stories, and thanking the brands for offering such a thoughtful touch. A few even mentioned it was the most special gift they’d ever given their mother.
